Re: [Talk-ca] Duplicate BC, Canada geometry
I also try to keep on top of the Google Spreadsheet, although sometimes I forget to add a completed CANVEC sheet. For information purposes, I'm planning to continue CANVEC imports up Highway 37 north toward the Yukon border, as well as filling in some wilderness areas southwest of Fort Nelson. Re: [Talk-ca] Duplicate BC, Canada geometry
I import exclusively in Northern BC and to my knowledge I am pretty much the only user who CANVEC's up there. I too download the whole CANVEC sheet area in JOSM. I often import overtop of Mr. Dunn's previous GeoBC road imports, but they are rarely, if ever in conflict. I always retain his GeoBC road imports and delete the CANVEC unless they are not present in the GeoBC layer. There may be a few road duplicates up there, but they would be minor errors and not indicative of a trend. Re: [Talk-ca] Duplicate BC, Canada geometry
Okay, so I was using that spreadsheet back when I was doing my BC import (look at the 91-99 sheet, and some of the 81-89 sheet), but it seemed as if many people weren't using it and it was difficult to maintain. You can also see that Azub's imports seem to post-date mine by 1-2 years. Adam On Sat, Feb 16, 2013 at 8:51 PM, David E.
