Only problem is that Strava's iD fork includes the low-res heatmap tiles, plus I don't think the Slide tool works anymore and it's a really old version of iD.

The high-res heatmap tiles can be used in JOSM however, by creating a Strava account and following the guide at: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Strava#High-res_Global_Heatmap_in_JOSM
