(Similar to any other TMS Tile service) I have used Viking to download tiles into it's cache (well since I write/use Viking my cache may be vaguely up to date if I've been using the ITO World OS Locator tiles), convert the cache into a mbtiles file, copy to my phone and use Locus Free to view the mbtiles file. Not necessarily the most obvious or easiest way... Be Seeing You - Rob. Oh there is more than I realised! I'll fix a few on my travels. Anyone know if it is possible to download the OS OpenData Locator layer (by ITO) to use on a smartphone in offline mode? Rob ___ Talk-GB mailing list Talk-GB@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb

Excellent idea and a great initiative. > The latest release of OS Locator data gives everyone the opportunity to get out there and chase down the latest set of road name revisions. ITOworld’s OS Locator tracker shows us at 98.14% completion. There are 14,639 major issues and 2,125 minor issues (mostly involving the use of apostrophes). Don’t forget that OS Locator isn’t always right and that names that were copied from OS Locator or Streetview also need to be checked. -- Andrew ___ Talk-GB mailing list Talk-GB@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb
