Agreed, 50 years

for Crown Copyright.

My understanding is that the polygons are either from purchased LR titles,
FOI requests, LR Inspire data or the new commercial dataset. All copyright,
and probably further restricted by OSGB rights. The commercial dataset is
released under a very tight licence
, which
includes giving away lots of personal data. So, no, I don't think you can
use those to add them to OSM.

Perhaps persuade Duncan Campbell to annotate OSM with his cycle rides.
