The thing to watch out for with GTFS data is the stop location. Some transit systems have very accurate data, such as Ottawa, typically is used for announcements on buses for blind people, others have bus stops that can be 300 meters out. There are tools to import the bus stops from the GTFS file into JOSM. Hello, your questions are not easy. In europe I think there are two companys who dialing with customer timetable imformation. That is hacon and Mentz. Thes two companys have there own fileformat. Hafas or Diva. But thats not all! The companys for planing like IVU have also a own format called infopool. And the companys for selling tickets or dialing with bordcomputers for in vehicels have a special format. So in germany a group called VDV try to make a format for all these it called VDV 452 453 and 454. These are open standards and the most of the systems are able to import or export into that format. Google has it own standard (GTFS). It is not the best format for timetable informations. But for OSM its ok. You can find stops lines and lineroutes. You can gett information of wheelchair and structure of stopposition, stoparea and stopareagroup. But the main problem is to get all the information into the file. The VBB are part of the opendata in Berlin. You can download the timetable form daten.berlin.de But there are only stopareas. Its enough to find a route from a to b but it is not enough for osm, because in the most parts we have already stoppositons. At big stations this would be a great problem. You can´t know where the bus stop. At all I think we should import into OSM only routes and stops. with a unique ID. So you can refer from a server with overpassapi to the geoinformation. [OSM-talk-be] Vraagje over N70
Mijn huidig projectje is om lanes en turn:lanes toe te voegen om zo hopelijk de navigatie wat te verbeteren. Ook al om wat minder kleur te brengen in http://www.itoworld.com/map/147?lon=4.07618lat=51.14254zoom=11fullscreen=true Nu ben ik bezig met de N70 en vraag me af of deze weg wel overal moet gesplitst worden in 2 afzonderlijke OSM-wegen met oneway=yes. bv. te Lochristi (http://osm.org/go/0EjOaR9rM?way=228629794 ). Zou het niet beter zijn om op stukken waar er een geen echte middenberm is, gewoon lanes=3, lanes:forward=1, lanes:backward =1 te gebruiken, zoals op het voorbeeld op de wiki (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:lanes) ? Dit zou ook veel minder problemen geven voor de zijstraten die nu heel dikwijls maar verbonden zijn met de helft van de straat. Wanneer splits je een straat in 2 afzonderlijke OSM wegen en wanneer niet ? Não é um Street View _do_ OSM, mas sim um produto comercial usando a base de dados do OSM, como vários outros. Espero um dia ver algo assim partindo da OSM Foundation. [Talk-br] Wiki: unificação de prefixos Pt e Pt-br
Prezados, Primeiramente gostaria de me apresentar. Sou participante da comunidade brasileira do OSM e mapeio no sul do Brasil há aproximadamente 18 meses. Colaboro com a comunidade brasileira nos mais diversos assuntos, desde mapeamentos locais até grandes importações automatizadas, com a manutenção do wiki e com a tradução das ferramentas. Alguns de vocês já sabem que existe uma proposta para unificar os artigos no wiki da comunidade portuguesa e da comunidade brasileira, que está sendo discutida e votada aqui: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Category_talk:User_pt#Debate_.2F_vota.C3.A7.C3.A3o No momento, há 7 votos a favor (nenhum deles de portugueses) e 2 contra (ambos de portugueses). Isso me parece um pouco preocupante, já que os números podem dar a falsa impressão de uma decisão democrática que na verdade desagradaria à comunidade portuguesa inteira. Sem o consenso no seu lado, creio firmemente que não devemos iniciar qualquer movimento para unificação dos prefixos dos artigos no wiki. Como pode haver questões que não foram devidamente debatidas entre as comunidades, gostaria de ouvir suas sugestões para alterações na propostas que a tornem aceitável à comunidade portuguesa. Sugeri originamente aos meus colegas brasileiros que cada um dos artigos, no momento da unificação, fosse dividido em duas ou três seções: uma para cada país, e opcionalmente mais uma sobre práticas comuns em outros países (já que no Brasil nos inspiramos muito no wiki em inglês). As seções sobre Portugal e Brasil poderiam ser fundidas futuramente caso seu conteúdo se torne suficientemente similar, isto é, caso seja escrito com termos técnicos similares e descreva práticas de mapeamento similares - algo que pode emergir naturalmente em alguns casos conforme as duas comunidades trocam experiências. Acredito que isto reduziria praticamente todo o atrito de uma unificação, mas gostaria de ouvir a sua opinião. Gostaria também de mencionar que venho trabalhando na tradução para o português brasileiro do editor JOSM e, nesse processo, tenho me inspirado bastante na tradução já feita (e muito bem feita) para o português europeu. Reconheço que há sim diferenças na terminologia entre os dois países, mas que elas são um tanto pontuais. Mesmo uma unificação dos artigos raramente nos impediria de respeitar essas diferenças, creio eu. Se for do seu interesse, venho compilando junto com a comunidade brasileira um glossário de tradução (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_Brazil/Refer%C3%AAncia), no qual já existem alguns termos empregados em Portugal nos casos em que não há um equivalente brasileiro. Boas. Eu acho que não devemos ter em conta que o OSM é para ser usado por pessoas sem formação específica de legislação ou que não trabalhem na área dos GIS e da informática! Os distritos, quer se queira quer não, fazem parte do dia-a-dia das pessoas. Basta ver os avisos meteorológicos! Sou por isso de opinião totalmente contrária ao acabar com os distritos no OSM, pelo menos enquanto eles fizerem parte do nosso dia-a-dia. Quando as NUTS passarem a ser uma realidade mais usada que os distritos então poderemos pensar nisso. Se acharem que as NUTS fazem mesmo falta acho que se deve usar uma tag diferente. Quero para já dizer que quando falamos de divisões administrativas estamos a falar de divisões com competência administrativas. A classificação é [1] : An administrative boundary. Subdivisions of areas/territories/jurisdictions recognised by governments or other organisations for administrative purposes. Não parece-me boa ideia usar os NUTS que só têm significado estatístico [2] Claro as vezes os NUTS foram criados com base de regiões administrativas existente, por exemplo os Açores e a Madeira correspondem com as regiões autónomas. É assim que eu compreendo a tabela em [1] quando é dado o NUTS : o NUTS foi criado tomando em conta as regiões administrativa já existente do pais. Na tua proposta por exemplo, indicas no nível 2 três entidades (Portugal, Açores, Madeira), mas o adminlevel 2 é mesmo o nível dos países, com esta classificação ficaremos com 3 países distintos : um país Portugal, um país Açores e um pais Madeira ! Para mim a classificação deve corresponder a informação dado no wikipedia [3] e [4]. Agora concordo que há outros tipo de divisões, como diz o wikipedia [3] : Enquanto que nas ilhas as divisões administrativas de 1.º nível são somente as regiões autónomas, no continente encontram-se os distritos, as CCDR, as áreas metropolitanas, as comunidades intermunicipais Ainda não sei se devemos fazer desaparecer os distritos ou não. É por isto que é feito a lista :-) Vou dar só mais um exemplo que conheço melhor, na França os níveis administrativos são bem definidos : Região, Departement, Commune (freguesia). Há muitas freguesias em França, mais de 36000, cada com um com um presidente de junta (maire). Foi por isso que foi criado Communauté de Commune ou seja ajuntamento de freguesias (áreas metropolitanas, comunidades intermunicipais). A classificação administrativa não mudou, foi decidido criar outro tipo de objetos no OSM com um novo tag boundary=local_authority [5]. Proponho baseamo-nos mais nas NUTS tal como vários outros países, pertencentes à União Europeia, que já o fizeram no OSM (activem a função pesquisa e procurem por NUTS). O único problema que isto traz é que serão ignorados por completo os actuais distritos. Argumento que estes têm vindo pouco a pouco a perder a sua relevância em matérias oficiais em prol das regiões e sub-regiões estatísticas: por exemplo, o INE ignora por completo os distritos no seu mapa de censos. Outro argumento contra os distritos é o facto de que em 2011 foram extintos os Governos Civis que eram responsáveis por representar administrativamente o Governo de Portugal. A consequência desta acção foi a relegação dos distritos para segundo plano já que várias funções foram transferidas para os concelhos e áreas metropolitanas, tal como indicado pela Lei n.º 75/2013, de 12 de Setembro . Concluindo, podem verificar a actual divisão administrativa nesta página e a minha proposta nesta . [Talk-ca] coastline between Montreal and Sorel, Quebec
Anybody know why the coastline stops about midway along the Montreal Island (and also Ile Jésus) and then starts again around Sorel? I got one report from someone who tried to fix this and was quickly reverted. Should it be fixed at some point and it's just such a large undertaking that nobody is willing to do it yet or was there a discussion and subsequent consensus to adopt the current state of the coastline? Ve dnech 4. až 6. dubna se v Paříži uskuteční výroční setkání komunity OSM Francie. Do této akce se může na dálku zapojit každý a přispět k mapování oblastí, které jsou aktuálně ohroženy humanitární katastrofou. Ateliéry zaměřené na mapování na dálku vybraných měst a zemí, které dosud podrobně zmapovány nebyly, bude organizovat nezisková organizace Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT). Přispěvatelé OSM z celého světa spojí v těchto dnech své úsilí a budou se podílet na zmapování vybraných oblastí ve čtyřech afrických zemích: · Demokratická republika Kongo (dlouhodobé nepokoje) · Středoafrická republika (občanská válka) · Guinea (epidemie eboly) · Mauritánie (pomoc Mezinárodnímu červenému kříži při budování sítě zdrojů pitné vody) Zapojte se i vy prostřednictvím nástroje pro koordinaci mapování na dálku OSM Tasking Manager. Congratulations! I've checked a few house numbers and found one discrepancy: Jenesien Widumacker 18 is on Jenesien Birnbaum instead. We could pass some of the checking work on to the municipalities . For that, we would need a briefing on how this can be done efficiently. Sinon... tu peux remonter l'historique sur osm.org pour retrouver le changeset qui a supprimé ce landuse (assez fastidieux). Et pour terminer... potlatch 1 permet de visualiser les objets détruits (masqués en fait). Ca permet de retrouver son id, puis d'utiliser le undelete de JOSM. maposmatic permet de préparer des impressions sur des formats supérieurs à l'A4. Tu veux faire quoi au juste ? Voici ma petite dernière... format A0, spéciale SOTM-FR... attention, c'est un fichier TIFF de 205Mo (A0 en 240dpi). http://osm13.openstreetmap.fr/~cquest/poster/QA.tif C'est un rendu FR+QA en double résolution par rapport à la résolution écran. Bonsoir, Maposmatic permet de choisir la taille d'impression et propose même du A0. Si tu choisis une zone trop grande tu ne pourras pas sélectionner une petite taille d'impression, mais je crois que les grandes tailles sont toujours disponibles. Le choix se fait à la 3e étape, après la sélection de la zone et le choix de la feuille de style. OSM est sensé évoluer de façon incrémentale en améliorant les choses au fur et à mesure parce que c'est bien plus productif et produit plus de précision en fin de compte que de tout recommencer de zéro en oubliant des détails qui pourtant avait été utiles. Même pour les imports de données en masse, de plus en plus cela se fera en préparant les données dans une base à part permettant de fusionner des petits morceaux avec une task list de mises à jours à effectuer. Les outils de QA et de partage de travaux à faire permettant déjà de diviser le travail et travailler de façon incrémentale ainsi que vérifier le résultat en cas de doublon oublié ou d'objets laissés orphelins. On ne peut pas travailler proprement à la consolidation de jeux de données multiples en procédant avec des bots faisant des modifs masives et automatiques avec un nombre trop imité de règles, quand la cartographie connait énormément d'exceptions à ces règles qui nécessitent au minimum une supervision humaine. Les bots sont plus utiles uniquement pou les imports de données en massa là où il n'y a presque rien (donc peu de conflits et de doublons restants), ou pour des analyses sur des bases séparées, et détecter ce qui est oublié, ou pour restaurer des objets supprimés par erreur ou par malveillance. Il n'y a plus pratiquement plus aucun polygone Corine de toute façon qui n'ait pas été retouché et amélioré de nombreuses fois un peu partout. La mention de la source est encore dans les tags en historique, mais sinon si on supprime quelque chose ce n'est pas les polygones possédant les tags, mais plutôt les tags eux-mêmes.
