it may be that the shield configuration files need to be updated. i

I have made County Road 1029 a relation and, using another county road

you should probably use the county name, as US:KS:CR is likely
ambiguous. i know it would be in NY,

which is why we just finished correcting those.

Also, is there a way to fix the Kansas Turnpike shield. The KTA shield is
not rendered as a cutout anywhere, even on guide signs.

[As an aside, the 'N' and 'E' on Douglas County roads do *not* stand for
'North' or 'East,']

Depends on the nature of the estimation. One could also leave a
note="estimated building position from ground survey with poor GPS
reception" or a changeset comment, etc.

I guess FIXME shows up in some QA tools, so that's nice, but for some
things using a FIXME is a bit "shout-y". :-)

Hi Russ-- that's great! I think the in-person events are definitely turning
out to be broader than just a sprint. In DC we're inviting newbies and
seasoned veterans alike, so there will be some sprinting, but also lots of
learning.

We'll get the event up on the bday sprint page :)

Kathleen,

I’m coordinating the Denver, CO event – but we’re not doing a sprint (at
least not for our in person event). I’ll be doing an OSM Basics for the ½
dozen or so new mappers that have joined:
http://www.meetup.com/OSM-Colorado/ - details are there if you (or others)
do want to add us to webpages, etc.

Thanks,

Hey Everyone-- just a reminder that this is happening this weekend! It's
actually kicking off tomorrow evening at MapTimeSF at Stamen's
office,
so feel free to get started! Remember that this is a distributed event,
though, so you definitely don't have to show up in person to participate.

Let me or Mikel know if you have any questions-- we're excited to celebrate
OSM's birthday with all of you!
