I use it and it works (see subject line).

There has been some trouble encountered when changing back from the
current beta series to the release version. TB! sometimes lost its
options back to default, if an account had been changed under the beta
(new folder, for instance).

 Hello TBBETA,

   A minor bug:
With the RTV viewer in some messages a received header doesn't show
up in a new line. It shows up correctly in the fixed width font
viewer and the source view. An example of the bug is attached.

I've noticed this, it's quite annoying.

The Bat! - bug report : Replied PGP signed messages showing a bad signature in RTV with PGP shell

2001-09-04 Thread David van Zuijlekom

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-

Hello The Bat! developers,

  I'm using The Bat! Version 1.54 Beta/7
  Serial Number E822B646
under Windows NT 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 2
and would like to report a bug

  The bug description:
In the Rich Text viewer pgp-signed messages with quoted material
show a bad signature with PGP shell, while in Fixed With Font
viewer the messages show up with a good signature. Messages with
no quoted material have a good signature in RTV.

  Steps to reproduce the bug:
1. Get a pgp-signed message with and without quoted material.
2. Check the signatures in the Fixed With Font viewer with
PGP-shell. The messages should have a good signature.
3. Check the signatures in the Rich Text viewer with PGP-shell.
The message with quoted material show up as bad and the one
   without show up as good.

Hi David,

DvZ The bug description:

DvZ viewer the messages show up with a good signature. Messages with
DvZ no quoted material have a good signature in RTV.

I posted this one myself sometime ago.

The reason for the bad signatures is that there is that in the RTF
viewer, an extra space is inserted after each quote prefix.

The reason two messages from me arrived about this subject, is that
the first post was from the wrong address. Normally messages from
non-members doesn't reach the list, so I posted again from the address
I'm subscribed as. But as we all can see the first post *did* reach
the list. Does this mean the list isn't protected against spammers?
