Re: Reply bug
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 @ 15:37:47 +0100 [ Thu, 22 Nov 2001], Dierk Haasis [DH] contributed this to our collective wisdom: ... DH I also use it for both functions. What I am referring to is a bug DH in 10e, sometimes - but not always - when opening the editor DH window to compose a reply TB! freezes. The editor window comes up DH halfway, that is, there is a new pane visible, but without DH message contents (it stays white). You can't do anything in TB! at DH this moment and although Windows is not crashed and you still can DH focus other windows (even within TB!) the display will not DH refresh. You have to kill TB! through the TaskManager. I've just reverted back to b10 since the transient loss of user input during mail checks is getting annoying. However, while using the beta, I never encountered the problem you described. - -- ©Allie C Martin (_ List Moderator and fellow end user __) TB! v1.54/10 Win2K SP 2 PGPKey: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=PGPPubKey1 __ -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: Sealed for Security iEYEARECAAYFAjv9fDQACgkQV8nrYCsHF+Le6QCfZQvdZN73CQlrIMKZ23LGrD7s ZMoAn1KpmhTVAC8f3VHEUoDPeCYtB19x =lmls -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- _ Archives : http://tbbeta.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Beta: 1.54 beta/10 Wish List : http://wish.thebat.dutaint.com
Re: v10e beta having regular periods of input loss
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 @ 18:15:54 +0100 [ Thu, 22 Nov 2001], Carsten Thönges [CT] thoughtfully wrote the following: ... CT Freezes on my system have IMO something to do with S/MIME. I don't CT now if this is the same problem Allie encounters but try the CT following: snip No. My problem is very specific and I confirmed this by activating the CC letting it show up automatically (I normally disable it). At every mail check, there is loss of user input for the whole system because the CPU is completely hogged by the check process. It's not until the CC disappears that user input ability returns. This happens with *every* mail check and upon looking at the CPU use, it's 100% throughout the mail check. - -- ©Allie C Martin -- List Moderator and fellow end-user PGPKey - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=PGPPubKey1 [MUA: TB! v1.54/10 (*) OS: Win2K SP 2] __ -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: Sealed for Security iEYEARECAAYFAjv9fagACgkQV8nrYCsHF+JlEwCfY1JbGGxMHJtogrtLs8abYj/Q QdgAnj/OLw9skaMbWpDDKaUOIxEBS8cI =hXnS -END PGP SIGNATURE- -- _ Archives : http://tbbeta.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Beta: 1.54 beta/10 Wish List : http://wish.thebat.dutaint.com
Re: Mail download freeze

I think there is something wrong with TB's memory management. somehow the RAM fills up and then everything hangs. I think this report, the CC using up all resources and not allowing any input, and yesterday's reports about the hanging CC are all connected. I know too little about Delphi's possibilities to have any idea how this could be remedied, or what the actual bug is. -- Cheers, Thomas. Moderator der deutschen The Bat! Beginner Liste. -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello Allie! On Donnerstag, 22. The trouble with 10e was smaller than trying to get them back - - regardless if b recreating them or using Raj's workaround. That you never encountered the bug I have, and I never had the problem you described reminds me of the current Opera beta. Two of the most reported bugs - not being able to delete folders in the hotlist, and the printing problems - I can't replicate. Both work alright. - -- Dierk Haasis http://www.Write4U.de PGP keys available: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=SendMyPGPkeys The Bat 1.54/10e on Windows 95 4.0 67306684 C Wherever Germany extends her sway, she ruins culture.
