Re: TB! 1.60d: strange behavior and popup window

2002-04-07 Thread Daniel Friedmann

Hello Marek,

DF of W2K or TB! before. What does this some tasks are active now mean?

Some tasks in Connection centre are active so You should open CC and
delete them or You should wait until they will be finished.

There was no open CC or in the background. Do you still think it might
have been an active task in CC? As I said before, this was the first
time I got that error message. TB! gets mail about 100 times a day.
This is quite strange...

Hei,

I think there is a (basic) misunderstanding about the bug we're talking
about here: We don't mean the problem of the text in the dialog (which is
the same on I think all systems and not actually a big bug) but the
strange characters which are *added to a mail body* when signing a mail -
on some systems. And according to a user in the German newsgroup this
problem is indeed fixed.

Hello Grimnir,

I have downloaded these files, but it talks about uninstalling something I
don't have and nothing about how to use this plug-in with 6.5.8.

Just skip the uninstallation and go on with the other steps. Of course
you need PGP 6.5.8ckt Build 07 or later (http://www.ipgpp.com) which
you will have to upgrade by bins082.zip.

The bins082.zip is an update for PGP6.5.8ckt build 07, You should
uninstall your current ckt build, reboot and install build 07, w/o
rebooting. Then replace the files with those from bins082 (the files,
which are in winsys subfolder of ZIP should go to C:\Windows\System or
C:\Windows\System32). Then reboot.
