Re: Behavior of Open this Link
Hello Philippe, Thursday, July 3, 2003, 11:26:33 AM, you wrote: PG #1: I can't double-click on it to open the link PG #2: While writing this mail, I can't open the link by anyway PG #3: If it's a received mail, I can select all the line (or the PG whole paragraph), right-click, and select Open this link PG Would it be possible to make it recognized as an hyperlink in any PG situation ? I'm not 100% sure I understood, but here's the way it should be working for you (as it works here): 1. If you are composing a message and you type in a URL like http://www.PCWize.com then you should be able to double-click it, but you can't right-click it and choose Open URL. 2. If you are reading a message, you can double-click or right-click and choose Open URL. 3. If you are replying to a message, and a URL gets quoted from the original text, then TB doesn't recognize it as a clickable URL, and you are relegated to copy and paste. 4. If you are forwarding a message and the URL has not been quoted previously, then it's the same as #1. If it was quoted as in your e-mail it was, then it's the same as #3. Why TB doesn't recognize a URL in a quote as something clickable, I don't know. -- Leif (TB list moderator and fellow end user).
