action change msg to color group

I'm also finding that some filters work one day and then the next they do silly things and I have to change the filter but I'll put all that in a separate message. I'm also finding that the same colour group marking only when read is now applying to my 2.12.03 set up as well and I just can't account for that as it used to mark the message as colour group straight away. Filter meanings are baffling and ambiguous IMHO
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I started off by copying my old filters straight across but only a very few simple ones worked so I ended up rewriting most of them (some several times) to try and get them to work. I have three Bat folders for TB!, Beta and TBOT. I originally put them in Header Field Reply to contains TBOT etc and this worked until I tried to get my own messages set up in their colour group which works for every other folder except The Bat folders. I now have 'my messages' filter AFTER The Bat filters and it is set to be sender contains my address and source folder is all three Bat folders. I then assign my messages with the set colour group but they still only get marked when read - very frustrating. However this change had a serious knock on effect with The Bat folders which then started copying every Bat message to Spam and every message from Mary Bull to the private folder I have for her messages to me. I should add that all messages also went to their respective folders so I then had 3 of each. I have now changed The Bat folders to be Recipient contains and all seems back to normal except that I STILL CAN'T get my messages set to their colour until they have been read. G! Sorry. Just a little bit of frustration;-) I do find the meanings of various headers in the new filters very meaningless in some cases. Yes I did take note of 9Val message [EMAIL PROTECTED] but I still can't get things to work in the case of my message colour group.
