Mysterious spam filtering
Hello, I am using K9 to filter spam, and it puts the spam messages into a Junk folder as specified by me in a filter. There is also a Spam folder in the same account, and certain emails end up there, even though they are not marked as spam by K9. For example, Google alerts; and today an automated response from Dell support ended up in the Spam folder. What or who is doing this filtering, if not K9? I have no other spam filters installed. Filters when pasted under CF rename themselves to one already in. The original vanishes. 2. One of my filter trees (simple one: one main filter, one subfilter) although pasted into Incoming shows up outside any category. 3. Re[2]: Filtering VFs by received date
Hello Marcus, Thursday, February 10, 2005, 8:29:52 PM, among other things, you wrote: MO 'age' uses the creation date and that is my problem. I want to filter MO based on received date and there is currently no way to set up a filter MO that shows all messages *received* more than x days ago. Unless I use MO 'date of', but then I have to edit the filter daily since there is no MO way to specify relative values using 'date of'. MO I hope I made myself more clear. Yes, perfectly clear now. It looks as though we need two versions of 'AGE', such as 'AGE (created)' and 'AGE (received)'. I see too that some people are asking for the age in hours as well: perhaps an acceptable compromise would be the addition of 'DAYS' 0,25 and 0,5 in the current drop-down menu. -- Best regards, Roger Flying with The Bat!, version 3.0.2.10, and antispam BayesIt! 0.8.0 Release on Windows XP, version 2600, Build 1 Current beta is 3.0.2.10 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
