Need help to create a little thread for testing

2005-10-15 Thread MAU
Hello all,

Taking advantage that the list is quite quiet lately, and that I have
some spare time, I'd like to do some testing about BT report:

  https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=4021

which is still not closed.

For this test I'd like to create a 3-4 level deep thread. So, I would
certainly appreciate if some of you would be so kind as to reply to this
message and then someone else reply to whoever replies first, etc.,
until this thread gets at least 3-4 levels deep.

TIA.

Yes, quite weird. See attached GIF. The flagged messages ended up in

should have been assigned to 'R_2_me' (direct replies to me) colour

3.61.12: VF not auto-refreshing

2005-10-15 Thread MAU
Hello all,

As a side effect of previous sub-filter tests I have seen the following:

Please see the 'VF_no_refresh.GIF' attached. The 'IO Threads' VF is
looking for 'any message' in Inbox and Sent Mail folders. I had 3 unread
messages in Inbox, manually moved 2 of them to TBBeta folder and the
'IO Threads' VF still showed a count of 3 unread and, obviously, the
messages were still displayed in the message list pane. I had to manually
refresh the VF.

I have added a note to https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=4158

It's too bad that just 3 days ago I added another note suggesting that
the BT report be closed.

Re: Need help to create a little thread for testing

Hello Richard,

Look forward to reading the results once you've got to the bottom of
 the problem.

The conclusion is simple, common sub-filters still behave as if they
were filters and not sub-filters. The information I included when
opening BT report https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=4021 and in the
notes added on 22-may-2005 and today (when re-opening the report after
the tests) include all details.

Anyway, if you are curious about any specifics, please feel free to ask.

Hello Richard,

Thanks. I've had a look at your report and, fortunately for me, I've
never used sub filters. All of mine are straight filters with different
 conditions but easy to manipulate!

Account sub-filters work fine, it's Common ones that don't. I don't
normally use any common filters or sub-filters, but this was a test I
had done for 9Val a long time ago and I had to verify if they had really
been fixed or not.

I shall remember that if I need to install sub-filters. Thanks.
