2006-04-12 Thread 9Val
Hi Peter,

PH BTW: After restarting TB a few minutes ago I again LOST all my customiza-
PH tions! After adding the image to the new toolbar entry I started TB about 4
PH times. Everything was OK! With the fifth start all custom changes were gone.

PH 9Val - there is a debug session and a lot of work waiting for you :-)

He-he-he, not for me, but for Valerye :P

When retrieving mail from my POP3 accounts, I get these log messages
from time to time. I have cleared my temp folder to no avail. I do not
appear to have lost any messages, but I would like to correct this.

This problem sometimes arises on with different users. I think that manual
deletion of whole content of your local temp directory will be enough (you can
paste the value %UserProfile%\Local Settings\Temp into address line of your
windows explorer to go directly to this folder.

The source of the problem most often is overflowing of this temp folder with
files. windows generates the names for temporary files using developer-defined
template (like batXX.tmp) by adding hexadecimal digits in appropriate place.
If all files which match the pattern are created, the next creation will be
failed.

Look at your environment - may be you use some antiviral software which
checks all files on the fly? If yes, it may be the very reason of such error
(the antiviral software just not yet finished file's checking when The Bat!
already tries to delete the file - and so, it fails).

It The Bat! were to write in case of errors not the fact, but also error code,
it would be a bith better to diagnose problems.

Hi!

I'm using OTFE and 09 don't imported correctly my toolbar
personallization so I go back to 04. But when I go back to 04 I don't
need to restore nothing. All personalization was ok.

So it seems something it's goind bad. Conversion not done, 05 and
later are using a different file for customization, ¿?

Fwd: Shortcut not working

2006-04-12 Thread Matt Thoene

One more try on this question...does anyone know how I can set a
shortcut that allows me to bring up/close the Connection Centre? Again,
I've had this working up until this new Customise function was
introduced.

Subject: Shortcut not working

I am unable to get a shortcut I've been using for years to work with
this new customise setup. I assigned Shft-Ctrl-R to view/hide the
Connection Centre in the Shortcuts tab of the Customise window but
when I hit that key combo it does nothing. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Under Actions See All Actions, 'Mailer Form', 'Connection Center'

You can add it to a menu and then give it a shortcut. If you don't
want to see it in the menu then you can hide it.

Thanks Stuart. Did this and can see it on my toolbar (unhidden) but the
keyboard shortcut still doesn't work. I may be reverting to a version
where it does.
