In Word it is working - when I have set PL - with a 3 and a 4 digit number!

I just saw your message. Unfortunately, The Bat! still does not handle
Korean encodings, including EUC. I posted to TBUDL on the same topic
just the other day. See the thread with subject Is Anyone Able to Send
 Korean Email?

The funny thing is that I CCd the mail to a coworker, who can see it
fine in Outlook... And also, I got an answer from SKorea already. And
once, somehow I managed to make my sent mail readable...

Ok, now I experimented with it:
- so, if you remove the Korean EUC from your XLAT set, and add it
again (uncheck that box, open a mail, try to read it, no success, go
back to the XLAT settings, check that box), and you open the mail, AT
THE FIRST TIME, I can read it (if you set the charset to Korean EUC in
the View menu after opening the mail). But not the second time... (after
closing and reopening the mail again..) I am using the plain viewer,
and it is funny: at first opening, plain viewer is used and the text
is ok if I select the EUC charset. But at the second time it is not
possible to select the plain viewer and the mail is messy... If I see
well, some HTML/Windows viewer is used... not the plain viewer...

Mess everywhere :)
