I tried the repair route=did not work. So I just dumped TheBat! .exe
file. Reinstalled .25=It worked=for me. On version .27 I even tried
Bayes filter plugin 2.04 (the old stand by,for me)=it did not work. I
really like Agava, bought it when it first came out,I still cannot
overtrain it. It works Great! Just wish it could be 'fine tuned' and
they would drop the spyware loaded in the update package. Its set's Spy
bot S&D off here real bad!!! The clamwin plugin worked just fine. I
use trendmicro internet security as my Av but found out (the hard way)
it treats 1 infected message the same=it deletes all your .mssg
files=I lost 500 saved messages. Running the
http://www.gfi.com/emailsecuritytest/ test's=clamwin did good. Its
slow but it works and treats each .mssg separately, not as a batch file
like trend does=IOW it does not delete your mssg database. Howdy from
Texas and have a great day!!

couldn't find .25 so reverted back to .24.
Odd thing is that I had to rename the old exe-file otherwise it wouldn't
install properly. Very very strange. Strange error after installation and
when firing up thebat I still had the ol' .27, so renamed it. Than .24 gave
me the option of modify/repair/remove so chose repair.

After rebooting my computer-Agava stopped working. I reinstalled
3.99.25. and Agava now works. I also use the clamwin plugin=it worked
fine on both.

Somebody explain this logic to me, please. The sent mail does not
confirm that the mail arrived on the list, and it is only on the
computer it was sent from. It's a major inconvenience.

If this should avoid abuse, I'd like to hear how.

I noticed that I am *still* the only one using thebat.net for this
important TheBat! list. Should that tell me something?

Yep, it's on mine, it says On-The-fly Pwd.

I'm running Vista Ultimate and have it.
