Memory Leak

2007-11-25 Thread Ethan J. Mings
Sunday, November 25, 2007

I continue to experience some sort of memory leak with the current
official version of The Bat. After about half of a day of use, it
moves from 57, 232 K to just under 180, 000K. Even when I minimize the
program, it still continues to escalate.

Can anyone verify this problem? By the way, I have not plug ins
installed and I'm running Windows XP Pro latest update on a dual core
machine with 4 Gigs of memory

Slow down when PC is waken up from sleep

2007-11-25 Thread Kertész Vilmos
I use a laptop with Voyager and TB! on the HDD, sometimes both
running. If I extensively use the programs and put the laptop to
sleep, and wake up, it slows down... It seems to me that with every
sleep and wake up there is some memory that is not freed up... Also,
it must be connected with the download of mails somehow.

Now Voyager is using like 64 MB RAM... Just this mail is open.

With a little bit of experimentation: if I open a mail that has 1.5 MB
JPEG attaches and view them in Voyager, close the mail, the memory
usage goes up to 67 MB.

Can somebody confirm it?

Hi Maxim,

I'm still having the same problem I had with version 3.99.25, see
mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] from Oct/20/2007.

I'm experiencing the problem that the field for the today's messages
display time format is emptied every time I restart TheBat. Means I have to
enter (for example) t every time I restart TheBat, otherwise default
display format is used.

Same problem over here. Not a BIG problem, but annoying.
