JF This talks about an URL in the Subject Line, but this issue is not

It is not resolved. The issue with From-header double-click is the
same issue. When you first click on the message it doesn't become
active (there is no cursor anywhere). If you double-click on the
header (e.g. From-header or the one with the URL) nothing happens
except now the cursor is in the message. Then second double-click
works fine.

PG This is not 4.xx alpha issue. As reported for 3.99.24 you have to put
PG the cursor on the header and then double-click instead of just
PG double-clicking.

MP Double clicking on the From-header opens the AB in 4.0.0.7...

I cannot see the difference between 4.0.0.7 and 4.0.0.8 in regard of
the double-click behavior.

When you first click on the message it doesn't become active (there is
no cursor anywhere). If you double-click on the header (e.g.

Then second double-click works fine. Before 3.99.24 double-click
worked on the first try.

Yes, on the inbox, outbox, Sent Mail and deleted folders (The first
three are empty on exit because I use rules to filter incoming and
sent messages out of them to 'Known' and 'Unknown' folders) and I can see
that happen (progress bars).

That takes about 20 seconds. The rest of the time (2 minutes 25

Confirmed. If TB is used extensively and running for a while, it takes
forever to shut down.

Plain Text Editor

2008-01-09 Thread Listuser
Hi,

As a recent convert to TB from Eudora, and now taking up the Alpha's, I've
noticed an issue with the Editor. I realise that MicroEd is being worked
on,so I'm not sure if it's a know issue or not.

Nevertheless, when typing a message in the Plain Text Editor I've recently
found that if you hit enter to go onto a new line, and start typing, the
text you're typing will automatically jump to the previous line where you
hit enter. Effectively you have to hit enter twice to put an extra line in
to prevent it from happening.

It also occurs with things such as a Quick Template if you start typing on
the line prior to any existing text, the existing text jumps to the line
you're on.

Another issue I've noticed is that if you select some text and hit the
delete key, it may or may not delete the text. It seems to have a mind of
it's own.

Any help much appreciated.
