Copy and Paste from UNIX Text File
When I copy and paste from a text file in UNIX format, the first line is okay, but with every subsequent line the first character is stripped off. For me this makes TB unusable. AntiSpamSniper icons not displayed properly
Hello All, Has anyone else had a problem with the AntispamSniper icons not displaying properly? RE: Re[3]: Moving Emails Issue
I have already been through the Maint center and ran it on all the folders. It did not seem to make a difference. I am going to take a look at XP from a systems view (MFT,Chkdsk, etc) to see if there is something up there. If not, I am truly at a loss as to why TB is so slow processing the mail. I will also delete any filters and see if that makes a difference. The fact that other mailers work fine and at light speed(fast) when reading the mail, points to something amiss with TB. 4.00.14.2 - original text pane
I had to drop back to an earlier version. I extensively rely on the Original Text pane when replying and with the implementation of the new MicroEd, it seems to have acquired some undesirable characteristics. 1. Especially when replying to a HTML message, the mouse does not accurately select. Carefully positioning the cursor and clicking, usually starts the selection one or more characters to the left. 2. Using the keyboard to tab from the copied selection to the body of the message (as was the behavior in v 3.x) does not occur. Instead the focus goes to the headers and you have to press tab repeatedly to get to the body. I have not seen others mention this so perhaps I ma doing something wrong. Hello Ian, I have just followed your instructions and found that the spell-checker still does not work. OK, if you did (i.e uninstalled, deleted registry key, etc., and did a Custom install with only Core), let's try to pin it down a bit more. Please export your HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT key, rename it as .txt (to avoid the risk of some one double clicking on it) and either post it here or send it to me by PM so I can compare it with mine to see if there any differences that could be significant? A screen capture of of Spell Checker Options dialog would also help. As I said in a reply to Graham in this same thread, no one can assure there is nothing wrong with the SSCE engine. But the fact that it works for most makes it more difficult to find why it fails for some, specially if developers can't reproduce the failure.
