Not trying to be argumentative but is is a BAT issue? You seem to point out all the things that aren't working in AVG including the "ignore" button. THAT points to defects in their program. I use Zone Alarm Security Suite for anti virus and there are a host of others using various products with no difficulty. Am I reading correctly that the issue is just with AVG? I can remember using NAV and having false positives and they would quickly correct them. I can understand this from a business point of view. Thailand is a poor country, it has a strange & difficult language and it is money-wize of minor importance to Ritlabs. Everyone knows software piracy is rampant in those parts of Asia and it is very easy to get hold of a cracked Beta! copy. So why invest time & money on im- proving something that hardly if at all will be worth the trouble?
