There are some things, The Bat! could detect and warn the user (once).

 I have opened a issue in the bug tracker for Postponed sending not working
 https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=7732

In the latest version, 4.2.10.16 I am finding postponed sending fully working 
and operational. I added a note to the bug tracker
