Yes, if you have 4.2.38 previously installed, you have to uninstall it first.

But I hope the uninstall doesn't delete the messages and setting

2010-12-22 Thread Ferdi

Hi,

4.2.38 works much better on my IMAP Server that versions bevore.
Filters working also much better. If you changed some things there than it
it the right way.
But counters still wrong and TB have sometimes problems with cached
folders. New messages get a date from 1970 and i have to clear cache and
after that it will be fine for a while.
http://www.abload.de/img/unbenannt3ae3.gif - counters are wrong. 2 new
messages will be shown as 3. Next time there are 12 new messages shown as
32 new.

But it is better that before from my point of view.

Image definition in HTML source misses cid:prefix

2010-12-22 Thread Marek Mikus
Hello all,
I have created HTML Quick Template, inserted image to it and sent. It is
displayed correctly in The Bat!, but not in Outlook or Mail app in iPad,
because image source definition misses cid: prefix.

For example image is defined like:

Content-ID: a9bc357d.01cba236eb4f5...@abd6eb26.cid

so image should be defined like

img width=992 height=456 alt= hspace=1 vspace=1
src=cid:A9BC357D.01CBA236EB4F55F1@ABD6EB26.cid

but TB now produces

img width=992 height=456 alt= hspace=1 vspace=1
src=a9bc357d.01cba236eb4f5...@abd6eb26.cid

Anybody could confirm this?

information about The Bat! registration keys

2010-12-22 Thread Maxim Masiutin
Hello Tbbeta,

If a customer now purchases The Bat! registration, our registration server
now generates new The Bat! keys that work in version 4.2.38 and all version 5
and until 6.0.99. But the users of version 4 have to update The Bat! to
4.2.38, since these new keys do not work in earlier version. This is just for
your information.

 Hello,
I appreciate this new dialog, but like in other new dialogs, there are many
unfinished parts in it. Personally, sometimes I do not understand, why You
are reinventing such basic things like Print preview, this is completely
weirdly designed, controls are missing or badly placed and used font is not
 too smooth.

 1) when I change Print template in Page setup, Print Preview is not updated

 2) page numbers defined in Page setup are not displayed in Print Preview

 3) Print Preview dialog is not placed in Task bar

 4) Print Preview is not available in Editor

 5) it is not possible to move PageUp/Down by keyboard, is there real
purpose to force user using mouse?

 6) dialog can not be closed by ESC, why is that?

 7) I am missing description of selected Printer or printer selection
 dropdown

 8) buttons are too short for localised strings...

 9) buttons page left/right are enabled even there is only one page
 available

 10) why is Print range and Print button placed at the bottom?

I created a bt with less information. Feel free to add more
suggestions to the bt
