Not you and I, but me and the beta list: Ritlabs has the choice of catering to a dwindling minority of fundamentalists or giving the user a choice (which would not hurt even the fundamentalists, never mind how vocal they are against reality and choices). Anyway, in the office I still use v4.2.36.4, and the second (completely misformed) HTML mail I sent displays better in that version that in 4.2.44. Screenshot attached. 4.2.44.2 - fix for transparent image
Hello TBBETA, 4.2.44.2 fixes transparent images in HTML and a rare AV when printing to non-default printer. This AV was introduced in version 1.62r. - If you have used 4.2.42 or earlier, just install the follwing MSIs over. - If you have installed 4.2.44 MSIs which I've annonced here in TBBETA on March 26, than uninstall those 4.2.44 MSIs first. - If you are using version 5 betas, do not install those MSIs since downgrading can lead to loss of data. http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_pro_4-2-44.msi http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_home_4-2-44.msi http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_rus_4-2-44.msi After installing one of those MSI's, the version in the splash screen and the about box should tell 4.2.44.2. Before installing those MSIs, click right mouse button on one of them and select Properties - Digital Signatures tab, and then the timestamp (time of digital signature) should be March 29. This is to ensure that you are installing .2 of 4.2.44 rather than the inital .0 announced on March 26 here in TBBETA. We plan to update www.ritlabs.com website for 4.2.44 later today on March 29. P.S. The international pack didn't change, as usual. -- Best regards, Maxim mailto:m...@ritlabs.com Current beta is 5.0.0.153 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

You can still use TB! the way you prefer, even if other people will make use of the option ot display HTML properly. Please open your mind and allow other people to have a choice. This is the 21st century, and newsletters and other info from sources I trust (for example the booking confirmations) are sent by HTML. We've been through that.
