View settings and Message creation View inconsistent

2012-10-13 Thread gandalfmeister
Hello Tbbeta,

Mine is a new install. I DON'T have Tags selected to be visible in the
message creation window, but they are visible anyway - so this is an
initialisation bug. I think the TAGS field is being confused with the Comments
field during initialisation, as there is some interaction between these in the
create message window. (e.g. I now have Comments visible - even though the
check box says I don't!!) - Most confusing.

Inline images not removed when editing a message

2012-10-13 Thread gandalfmeister
Hello Tbbeta,

If you create an HTML message, and create an inline image - you can see it as
an attachment. If you highlight and remove the inline image - the image
disappears - but not the attachment. You have to delete the attachment as well.
Seems a bit weird!

How to include version info etc?

2012-10-13 Thread gandalfmeister
Hello Tbbeta,

I know that TB! has the capability to do this - I just can't remember how.

For reporting to this forum - I'd like to include my TB! version and the OS
version (and anything else you would like to see)
Is there a recommended template for posting to this list which includes this
information automatically?
Do I simply associate this template with the tbbeta email address?

I meant these fields were visible when their "View" properties were disabled.
Toggling each of them a couple of times got them back in sync - so I assume its a 1st time use initialisation bug in TB!
