Re: Moving folders from one account to another
IMAP may be the issue with you. I CAN do that with POP account folders. I am not sure why you want to move IMAP account folders, but VIRTUAL folders may be a good way to view messages together -- Rick "You control our world. You've poisoned the air we breathe, contaminated the water we drink, and copyrighted the food we eat. We fight in your wars, die for your causes, and sacrifice our freedoms to protect you. You've liquidated our savings, destroyed our middle class, and used our tax dollars to bailout your unending greed. We are slaves to your corporations, zombies to your airwaves, servants to your decadence. You've stolen our elections, assassinated our leaders, and abolished our basic rights as human beings. You own our property, shipped away our jobs, and shredded our unions. You've profited off of disaster, destabilized our currencies, and raised our cost of living. You've monopolized our freedom, stripped away our education, and have almost extinguished our flame. We are hit...we are bleeding...but we ain't got time to bleed. Maybe it is/was possible with POP accounts... The move with ALT is possible within an IMAP folder tree. But not outside that tree structure. > I believe this is too rare an operation for RIT to have implemented > it. And Yes the drag-and-drop is not an issue and works. I am not 100% sure but I though in the older versions of TB! it was possible to move a folder from one account to another using the keyboard direction buttons. -- best regards | Using The Bat! 5.4 Eddie | on Windows 7 6.1 | Build 7601 Service Pack 1 Current beta is 5.4.2.0 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Re: Moving folders from one account to another
I use ALT+SHIFT+ the arrow keys. You may have to move it out to the same level, then maneuver it up (or down) to below the destination account, then move it in. If you have Account filters you may have to go cut and paste them to the new account -- Rick I hope we shall take warning from the example and crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country. - Thomas Jefferson v5.4.2.0 (ALPHA) on Windows 6.2 Build 9200 Using all POP accounts I download all images Current beta is 5.4.2.0 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Dear MAU, --->>> MAU / Tuesday Tue 27. Aug 2013, 03:33 PM Moving folders from one account to another > Yes, it is possible. Select the folder and then just Alt+click and > drag it to where you want it. It is not working. I click on the Folder, keep holding down the mouse button and then hold down ALT-key. I then move the folder to the new location but it shows me this circle with a slash in it (like a traffic sign for not parking). If I first select the folder with a simple click, then hold down the Alt -key, and then click and hold down the mouse button and move it gives the same result as above.
