I can only drag an IMAP folder along its siblings, changing its
list position. I cannot actually move it into of out of another folder.

IMAP may be the issue with you. I CAN do that with POP account folders. I am
not sure why you want to move IMAP account folders, but VIRTUAL folders may be
a good way to view messages together

The move with ALT is possible within an IMAP folder tree. But not
outside that tree structure.

That is a hassle to recreate so many folders. And Yes the
drag-and-drop is not an issue and works.

I am not 100% sure but I though in the older versions of TB! it was
possible to move a folder from one account to another using the
keyboard direction buttons.

Here, this is only possible with a local (non-IMAP) folder and only
within one account. Maybe it is/was possible with POP accounts...

I believe this is too rare an operation for RIT to have implemented it.
You can recreate folder structure and drag letters there. Sorting
office rules can be cut'n'pasted too.

That doesn't work.
But I forgot to tell that the source Account is IMAP and the
destination a POP. Does that break the rules of moving folders?

I use ALT+SHIFT+ the arrow keys. You may have to move it out to the same level,
then maneuver it up (or down) to below the destination account, then move it
in. If you have Account filters you may have to go cut and paste them to the
new account

Moving folders from one account to another

It is not working.
I click on the Folder, keep holding down the mouse button and then
hold down ALT-key. I then move the folder to the new location but it
shows me this circle with a slash in it (like a traffic sign for
not parking).
If I first select the folder with a simple click, then hold down the
Alt -key, and then click and hold down the mouse button and move it
gives the same result as above.

Any idea?

Thanks Mau. Just wondering - will filter be automatically adjusted?
