This is how I could solve similar in my situation: First I deinstalled The Bat. Second I rebooted, to make all things marked to delete get deleted indeed. Third, I deleted by hand anything I could find in the The Bat directory and in the directories of C:\users\\AppData As the fourth step, I rebooted again. Then,fifth, I ran CCleaner and let that program scan and clean my registry. Quite a lot of The Bat registry settings were deleted. Sixth, I rebooted again. And then, fifth, I installed The Bat again and got a clean install without password window. Hope, it will help you too. -- Kind regards, The Bat! Unable to Get the Bat to correctly install
I ran into a problem where The Bat will start up, then it askes for a user name and password. I removed the program and tried a clean install. I get the same message asking for a username and password. Any advice on how to solve this problem. For now, I am stuck using another client until I get The Bat to operate correctly.
