  I do agree with Peter Herklotz 100%. 
  
  Ribbons are made to chain the user for too long time so that he does not get 
his work done, by wasting time to search thru ribbons. 
  
  When the new Ultraedit introduced ribbons, they gave at least the choice to 
switch back to the regular interface for speed users as me. So switching back 
to the regular interface was the first thing I did. 
  
  OTOH, Windows Office 2010, which I can unfortunately not replace because of 
the VBA programming support, does waste my time with these horrible ribbons. I 
found no way yet to switch to a useable interface. 
  
  Trying to force a waste of my time is one more reason not to upgrade to 
TheBat 9 (the other being not supporting proper quoting in HTML mails). 
  
  BTW, I could not see much of those screenshots — they are miniature and I 
could not enlarge them because they are on Facebook and I am not subject to Mr. 
Zuckermans's spying.
