Title: Re: Issue sending message in 9.3.3

Hello Miguel,

The problem is - in the column "Edit allowed" it says "No" and the button "Edit" is grayed out.
As soon as I know the name of the file affected (not exactly but good enough to identify it), I was able to restore the file from the backup.

I mentioned already that the reasonable solution would be to copy the file which is changed to some Backup directory and have a possibility to "restore to the last known configuration".

Another option (for system administrators) is to explain each and every configuration file to know which one should one to restore for the recovery.

Regards,

Andrei.

What do you actually mean by "does not allow to change it".

I think the problem is that, as can be seen in your second attachment,
the RFC Name somehow has been changed to 2400*1350. Select that line
and click the Edit button, then set the RFC Name to "From" (without
the quotes). See attached.

Well, the issue appears on all kinds of The Bat!, beta or not.
The issue is sporadic (for me it is not the first time and it is quite annoying).
The solution given at the link is a half-solution:

- the config file has been renamed at some point
- renaming the config fixes the issue but makes The Bat! to forget all(!) folder configuration

Because, this one is being read by the developers, maybe they consider to use some reasonable format, which can be edited directly - SQLite, JSON, etc. ?

Andrei.

Are you quite sure that this is a beta issue..?

Issue sending message in 9.3.3

2021-02-17 Thread Andrei Arkhipov
Hi.

Since recently my The Bat! stopped sending messages claiming "there's no
>From field". See the picture attached.

The investigation shows that The Bat! has lost From header and does not
allow to change it. See the picture attached.

Any idea how to fix this as now I have an absolutely useless mailer.

Thanks,
Andrei.
