OK, I actually traced it back to my VPN. I had set TB to by pass the VPN but
with the new version that seemed to quit working.
I had also noticed earlier that some links in some emails would not work if the
VPN was on, even when set to the same country. Any idea why that would be?

It could be your firewall or antivirus preventing a newer version of The Bat!
to use Internet connection. Presumably, checking their or system logs will help.

Version 9.4 64 bit problem

2021-07-06 Thread Stuart Cuddy
Hello Tbbeta,

I started using version 9.4 and it seemed to be working OK, then all of a
sudden it has quit working. All of my accounts say

!7/6/2021, 08:14:30: IMAP - Could not connect to the server. No such host is
known .

I tried restarting TB but no luck. I am now using 9.3.3 and it is back to
normal. Any ides what might be happening?

…and here's another bug: the image I inserted in the previous message is 21242
bytes on my disk, but The Bat somehow blew it up to 29559 bytes – this
definitely shouldn't happen.

Yeah, I knew instantly what it was, it's just that it's not something I'd
deliberately set to anything other than "Anywhere" on my own machine.
