[The Bat! 4.0.14.5] MicroEd Setting Auto-wrap
Hello, folks! Just curious for a better understanding: If in Options|Viewer/Editor|Editor preferences Auto-wrap is *activated* for MicroEd, is it supposed to work also with pasted text or not? I know that auto-wrap causes automatic line breaks, if one types text manually, but how is this feature supposed to work with pasted text? Thanks in advance! Cheers! Hello Volker, If in Options|Viewer/Editor|Editor preferences Auto-wrap is activated for MicroEd, is it supposed to work also with pasted text or not? No. Although I know you don't like it, your only option is 'Edit/Paste formatted' (Shift+Ctrl+Ins) or a 'Ctrl+L' after a normal paste. [Reply to: »MAU« · 2008-02-24 · 20:49 h (CET)] Hello, MAU! I know that auto-wrap causes automatic line breaks, if one types text manually, but how is this feature supposed to work with pasted text? It doesn't affect pasted text. Why is it so? Either auto-wrap is enabled and *all* text — manually typed or pasted — will cause an automatic line break at the defined right margin (70 characters or so). Or it is disabled and no text will wrapped at all. I do not understand in *this* case, where the difference between typed and pasted text should be. Who can enlighten me? :-) BTW: Your signature delimiter seems to be broken (see below): -- Best regards, Miguel A.
