Don't worry, they may change it again to white and thus have an excuse
for a new release. ;-)

Almost right, given version X.Y.Z then:

X is the major version number and changes when there is an extensive
change to the file format or library API. This number is not expected to
change frequently.

Y is the minor version number and is incremented by each public release
that presents new features. Even numbers are reserved for stable public
versions while odd numbers are reserved for development versions.

Z is the release number. For public versions, the release number is
incremented each time a bug is fixed and the fix is made available to
the public. For development versions, the release number is incremented
more often (perhaps almost daily).

Not all software follows the odd/even practice and definition of a what
constitutes a major version increase differs too. Besides that it is
mostly standard.

Must mean 2.02.4 is close huh?

Anyway ...

This version (2.02.3) has caused no issues here yet. Everything working
as reported.

Let's see. Today's the 10th and Christmas is on the 25th. We are
currently on 2.02.3 and that means till 2.02.99 we have 6.4 bug fix
builds released PER day to get to 2.03.0.

Hm. :-)

They changed the header bits in the compose window back to grey
again... just after I started to get used to it. ;)

Well, I was beginning to get accustomed to them. Editboxes tend only
to become gray when DISABLED. I must admit I thought the headerfields
to be non-editable, when first testing The Bat, until I learned to
think otherwise.

In my opinion they could stay white - provided they're CONSISTENT.
Now, however, they're "flat white", XP-style, while the rest of the
interface is "3D-beveled", 98-style. A slight bevel here and there and
they could stay white, for all I care.

The white background are not acceptable for me.
