It works just fine here with TB!3.5.28 and PGP8.1 (both with inline
and MIME encrypted messsages)

I found, that it only occurs with inline encrypted mails created with
KMail. Mails created
with The Bat! or Thunderbird open the passphrase prompt as expected. So
it doesn't
seem to be a serious issue.

Nevertheless, I'd like to know why it happens. I looked at the two messages
you sent, and I can't make up any significant change, the only header that
is entirely different is the Content-Disposition: inline header in the
message you sent with KMail (its missing in the message created with TB).

The problem was caused by contradictory HASH statements in KMail

I also sorted out my wrapping in T'bird, or so I hope... ;-)

As with all 3.5 releases and betas, I tried out Watch
Replies In.

This time, I was given a choice of creating a new watch
or using my existing watch. I selected to use the
existing folder on your message.

Your message and the entire thread showed up in my
watch folder - looking like it worked!

However, I then selected your message again and this
time removed the watch on it. The check box next my
folder name (in special-watch replies in) was
unchecked correctly but the thread remained in my watch
folder.

I closed TB! and restarted it. Your message still
appeared in my watch folder (without the rest of the
thread until I did a folder refresh). There was still
no check on my folder when I right clicked on it and
viewed the watch status.

I switched back to 3.02.10 and removed the checks on
all my watches.

I then switched back to '28' repeated the test with the
same disappointing result :-(

Watch Replies In is still broken in 3.5.x.

No, I don't think so. There was just the encrypted message with no key
attached, and the sender's key has been in my public keyring for long.
Besides, decrypting depends on *my* key, not the sender's.

The Decrypt button just doesn't decrypt, but opens the save to
file dialog instead.

When I click the button with version .26 it opens the passphrase
prompt as expected.
