3.81.05 closing speed
Hello, All of a sudden this new version is, for me anyway, closing at lightning speed. This morning I had to reboot my PC and the new Beta had been up and running since I downloaded it 24 hours ago. When I shut down TB! prior to rebooting I was very surprised to see an almost instantaneous close down without the normal interminable wait. I was well impressed and wonder if anyone else has found the same. -- Regards, Richard | The Bat! 3.81.05 Beta with SpamPal POP3 account and no Plug-ins | Windows XP (build 2600), version 5. 1 Service Pack 2 | F-Prot AV, Outpost Firewall Pro, Spysweeper, Adaware, SpyBot Holiday in France: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/lazyhomes/holiday.html Current beta is 3.81.05 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

You will experience slow shutdowns, also... -- Vili The Bat 3.81.04 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Szervizcsomag 2 Current beta is 3.81.05 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Hello Vili, On Fri, 30 Jun 2006 you wrote in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] V 3.81.04 was the same. Not for me. After 24 hours of use that ( and all other versions) took an eternity to shut down. I've just shut this version down to see. Instantaneous even though it's only been running for 5 hours now but there was always even a small wait before. I prefer to be optimistic and think it's finally been fixed but, as you say, I could just be lucky ;-) -- Regards, Richard | The Bat! 3.81.05 Beta with SpamPal POP3 account and no Plug-ins | Windows XP (build 2600), version 5. 1 Service Pack 2 | F-Prot AV, Outpost Firewall Pro, Spysweeper, Adaware, SpyBot Holiday in France: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/lazyhomes/holiday.html Current beta is 3.81.05 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/

Maxim (CC): what did you do EXACTLY that can affect the shutdown speed?
