Update: I tried with the current beta, and when this "checking..." started again and lastest for a while, I tried to just abort the task in the Connection Center. This led to TB! crashing. However, I could not restart TB!, but a right-click on the taskbar icon gave the option to "close window", which I did. And then a surprise: A window popped up, asking me to allow TB! to access my Gmail Account! I gave the necessary permissions. This caused another crash to the extent that I could not restart TB!, I had to reboot Windows. But now it all works, and I can receive my Gmail emails. I have no idea what caused this but suggest to take a look at how Gmail handles permissions and how TB! deals with that. -- Cheers, Thomas. This script moves the ex_log.txt and thebatXX_Exceptions.log into the ZIP file, i.e. deletes those files creating a clean sheet for the next exceptions...
