With one Gmail account (but  not the other), I am experiencing this:

16 minutes. Cannot receive emails. I already restarted TB! with the same result. Can anybody confirm?

Happens reliable every time with this account, until TB! freezes and then crashes.

Update: I tried with the current beta, and when this "checking..." started again and lastest for a while, I tried to just abort the task in the Connection Center. This led to TB! crashing.

However, I could not restart TB!, but a right-click on the taskbar icon gave the option to "close window", which I did.

And then a surprise: A window popped up, asking me to allow TB! to access my Gmail Account! I gave the necessary permissions.

This caused another crash to the extent that I could not restart TB!, I had to reboot Windows. But now it all works, and I can receive my Gmail emails.

I have no idea what caused this but suggest to take a look at how Gmail handles permissions and how TB! deals with that.

Thomas.

My script  ZIP-TB-Exceptions.vbs uses the date creation and date last change of the thebatXX_Exceptions.log in the file name (with XX being either 32 or 64).

Thanks, but that's not the point. Any relevant data from my problem was not written to the log file.

Preparing Exception log for submission (was: 8.2.8.5 / checking server's capacities)

My script ZIP-TB-Exceptions.vbs uses the date creation and date last change
of the thebatXX_Exceptions.log in the file name (with XX being either 32 or
64).

The file name also contains the bitness and the software level of the TheBat
executable found in the TheBat installation directory at the time of execution
of the script. It is therefore recommended to call the script every time before
this executable is being changed; otherwise the file name would contain wrong
information. I have placed a link to the script on the bottom right corner of
the Desktop, making it accessible under all conditions.

This script moves the ex_log.txt and thebatXX_Exceptions.log into the ZIP
file, i.e. deletes those files creating a clean sheet for the next exceptions...
