You can't export a single contact (although you can copy it to LDIF format, whatever that is). If you have groups defined in your address book you can't export a single group, you get the whole AB. If you decide to export the whole AB you can spend ages fiddling with the list of fields to export only to find when you've done it and missed something to have to do it all again 'cos the dopy bit of kit has thrown you last lot of settings away.
