In the plugin settings there's a drop down menu for choosing what to
do with infected messages. Removing infected parts is one of the
options. Have you tried that option?

I will give it a try and see what happens.

I am curious as to why both Nod and now NAV 2002 can't seem to touch the
virus while in TheBat Setting.  I just installed Nav 2002 again to see how
it would handle just the regular eicar file and Nav was not able to clean,
or delete, but was able to quarantine.   For some reason it says the file
is on some restricted disk or network, just seems strange.
