Re: Delete by anti-spam not deleting from server
Hello Stuart This is only a problem if you use a common folder. Once the message is moved to the common folder it no longer knows which account it came from. Not true. I have the problem and I do NOT use a common Junk folder. Perhaps the problem is specific to Achim's filter? Re: Delete by anti-spam not deleting from server
Hello Stuart What filter is that, maybe I could use it. Could you paste it here so I can check it out? Achim's Bayes Filter! (what this thread is about?) Looks lk the problem only occurs if you enable the new regular expression features in this anti-spam add-in I've also just notived that the %spamversion% macro doesn't work in my footer either with this plugin -- regards, Graham Using The Bat! 3.0.2.10 assisted by under Windows XP 5.1 (Build 2600, Service Pack 1) -- Notice: This e-mail message, together with any attachments, contains information of Merck Co., Inc. Re: Delete by anti-spam not deleting from server
Hello Stuart Sorry, I thought you were talking about the filter you used to delete the file from the server. You are quite correct - My Apologies!!! - I was thinking about TB! hanging due to Achims regexp anti-spam filter - and didn't realise I was in a completely different thread. You are clearly far more awake than I am. -- regards, Graham Using The Bat! 3.0.2.10 assisted by under Windows XP 5.1 (Build 2600, Service Pack 1) -- Notice: This e-mail message, together with any attachments, contains information of Merck Co., Inc. Delete by anti-spam not deleting from server
Hello tbbeta I think this is an old (still unfixed) bug. Anyone else confirm that the delete by the anti-spam filter does NOT delete the message off the server (Yes - empty trash on exit is set) -- regards, Graham Using The Bat! 3.0.2.8 assisted by [Bayes Filter Plugin v2.0.0] under Windows XP 5.1 (Build 2600, Service Pack 1) -- Notice: This e-mail message, together with any attachments, contains information of Merck Co., Inc. I use a common spam folder and Achims bayes filter 2.0. Is there any bugtrack entry for this issue? Sure, it has to be downloaded, but if the mail is identified as spam, it should be marked as delete from server by next contact with server. The same thing as the option delete mail from server when removed from trash in the account properties.
