Just included you'll find a picture of my folders - no Known and no
Common.

I had them once (Known when it was first introduced and buggy; Common
for testing purposes some betas ago) but could get rid of them by
simply deleting them.

Maybe you just never created a common folder. I made one, Test
Common Folder, under beta 19 (I think). Maybe beta 22 sees that
there are common folder(s) and therefore creates a common Inbox -
Known?

Hello Jeroen,

That cannot be confirmed. All my accounts do have a known filter and
are set to inbox and are not active (except in one account, but that
filter is set to a custom folder in that account). In the 'sorting
office' for the common folder there is *no* known filter present.

I confirm that after deleting that Inbox - known folder (common) it
 returns after restart TB.

I have the same problem
Seven accounts, all put their mail in the default IN box (of the account).
I have a filter known in nearly every account, but these rules are not
active and every filter moves the mail from known users to the Indox.

But I can not delete the Inbox Known in my common folders !

You mean you have a sorting office for the common folders? On my
system the sorting office icon is blanked when browsing a common
folder.

Same here. If I delete the Inbox-known common folder it returns after
restart of TB!. I'm sure I have no filters assigned to that common
folder, because before Beta/22 I didn't have this common folder.

Not confirmed here. I created two common folders under beta 19. No
common inbox-known folder under beta 22.

What is SmartPad used for ?

MDP Collecting information in a handy central location from multiple
MDP sources. I use it to paste in bits of very long spams to piece
MDP together a hybrid summary of the UCE for pasting to SpamCop. That
MDP reduces the amount of fuel I use in reporting some of the bigger
MDP stuff.

MDP I could also use it to collect bits from multiple messages before

The SmartBat! seems to carry all the editor features. Interesting. I
no longer have to fire up the message editor to use the editor
features. :-) Even better that it has a hotkey associated with it.

You noticed all this just now ?!-))

Yes, I think it's a very handy sketch pad. I've used it every day
since I downloaded beta 16 which was the first Bat-beta *ever* I dared
to download.

What's the use of it, somebody asked. Well, I use it for sketching
poems and other stuff before I decide where to mail those lousy lines
:)
