Re: Faulty operation of 'Read' filters by 'SmartSpace' shortcut.
Hello Roger, I usually navigate from one unread message to the next by using the 'SmartSpace' shortcut. Apart from moving to the next message this is also set to mark the message being left as 'Read' and this action usually serves to trigger any associated 'Read' filter. However, if the message being departed is the last unread message in a folder containing several messages, or if it is the only message in a folder, then any 'Read' filter *IS NOT TRIGGERED*. Can anyone else confirm this please? I don't use SmartSpace myself. But I have configured it to run a few test and yes, I can fully confirm you findings. Hello Roger, A reminder of what Roger Phillips typed on: Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 20:00:32 GMT +0200 RP I usually navigate from one unread message to the next by using the RP 'SmartSpace' shortcut. Apart from moving to the next message this is also RP set to mark the message being left as 'Read' and this action usually serves RP to trigger any associated 'Read' filter. Yes I can confirm this. Works until you get to the last message. When you use smartspace reading do you always have to select the message you are reading before using it. I mean that the focus cannot be in the folder pane or on the message list when you start using it. -- Best regards, Stuartmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.99.21 (BETA) On Windows XP 5.1 Build #2600 Current beta is 3.99.21 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I didn't include it in my original message as I was going to make a new report -- I've now changed my mind and added a note to the BT. I seem to have not received some messages lately, including the one you replied to! It just goes to the first unread message in the folder which has focus, or if there is not one it moves to another folder. I'm not sure how it decides which other folder to move to next. -- Best regards, Roger :flag-southafrica: The Bat! v3.99.21 (BETA) with AntiSpamSniper 2.5.0.2, on Windows XP, version 5 1, build 2600 and Service Pack 2 Current beta is 3.99.23 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Faulty operation of 'Read' filters by 'SmartSpace' shortcut.
Hello TheBat Beta List Members!!! Similar issue with SmartSpace - create filter that park read message (for example when is from [EMAIL PROTECTED]). Filter works when you go to next message through cursors but not work with Smart Space at all. I see this issue on common folders. Maybe on accounts also exists. -- Thanks and best regards, Sebastian Murawski Current beta is 3.99.23 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Faulty operation of 'Read' filters by 'SmartSpace' shortcut.
Hello All, It is apparent that some of the older bug report items are now being attended to, perhaps in preparation for version 4? There is one bug that I submitted almost two years ago which is still shown as 'New'. This may be because it did not have any confirmations from anyone else! The bug still exists and I would like to make another attempt to get it fixed. The Problem: I usually navigate from one unread message to the next by using the 'SmartSpace' shortcut.
