M We didn't see any demand for it so far, why do you need IMAP ACL? The environment that I use both personally, and professionally (in the business world) usually like and use ACL, as many businesses have need for this. As an MDaemon reseller, I come across this need all the time, when businesses want or need to share certain IMAP folders among co-workers. For example, a sales force of a company needs to share key folders among themselves, or certain other departments need to share IMAP folders, or need to add other workers to have access to certain folders, etc. Also in a way, at times, IMAP ACL becomes a cheap alternative for businesses to bypass the need for a network file server, but in all cases the ACL allows groups of people to share and collaborate information via shared folders on an IMAP capable server. Of course, the business aspect my not be the market you guys are targeting, but for those people who use or would consider TB in their business, the IMAP ACL would be an asset. Simply put, I think by adding ACL, it would put TB in a better marketing position for use in their business world, as to compete against Outlook or Thunderbird.
