Re: New folder / Delete folder - how?

2013-06-18 Thread MAU
Hello Thomas,

I don't know why it worked though. I cannot find anything related,
 kindly see attached.

I can't see anything related either, but if it did the trick... :-)

New folder / Delete folder - how?

2013-06-17 Thread Thomas Fernandez
Hello tbbeta,

Today I wanted to create a new folder. In v4.x, I did this as follows:

Folder / New...

There also used to be:

Folder / Delete...

Both seem to have disappeared in v5.

I checked the same functions under Accounts, but they are still both there:

Account / New...
Account / Delete...

How do I create new folders or delete unwanted folders now? - I am
posting this in TBBETA and not as a question in TBUDL, because I
believe that these two menu items have simply been forgotten to be
included when compiling the program. Confirmations are welcome.

Intersting. I can't screenshot over here, but the New and Delete menu
items are not here. Not on this computer using Windows 7, nor on my
office computer (for which I bought a v5 licence today) using Windows
XP.

I have neither New nor Delete... on two computers with different
Windows versions.

What's wrong over here?

Had you been fidling with Customise? You may try something. Exit TB.
Copy your 'tbuser.def' file in you MAIL directory to some other
directory end then delete it from MAIL. Re-start TB and see if the
Folder New and Delete options show now.

I had not been fiddling with Customize, but closing TB, renaming
tbuser.def and reopening did the trick (at least here on the home
computer under Win7)! Thanks!

I don't know why it worked though. I cannot find anything related,
kindly see attached.
