When I do paste any cells with Cyrillic symbols from Excel 2019 to TB! with
Pure-HTML it goes to strange symbols (крякозябры), if I used RichText it paste
normal.

It was fine before beta with adding RichText.

Please fix it that in PureHTML and don't kill it RichText - it needs for me too
- when I works with pararagraph styles in a letter.

Nobody knows.

It seems as if there was a problem with this list. And also Ritlabs
couldn't send mails to this list. This was also the reason for some
test messages to this list in the last time since September begins.

OT: The Bat! v10.1.0.3 runs mostly fine on wine!

2022-09-13 Thread Joerg Schiermeier
Hello list!

In my statement about the direction of development I decided in my post
https://www.mail-archive.com/tbbeta@thebat.dutaint.com/msg115456.html
to leave this list. This did not happen - I was still watching what
happens to The Bat! until now. Now I'm back!

I will test both NAU versions (32bit and 64bit) against the newest
wine. This will run The Bat! on top of wine on top of a Linux
distribution.

Here is my official test result and report from today:
New MSI files from version v10.1.0.3 means also new tests against
latest wine:

Both are running on Linux (Debian64) on brand new wine v7.16 from
August, 28th, 2022, with some problems:
-Calendar mostly usable: it have some severe graphical glitches
-Address book mostly usable: it have some severe graphical glitches
-wine's bug #51178 is still present. (Please see: "The Bat! v9.3.4.12:
Missing content in TTreeViews on Windows versions higher than 8", URL:
)

More infos about "TheBat!@wine": see Wines application database about
"The Bat!":

Until now there are also three different installation methods described
how to install "The Bat!" on Linux/Wine (this descriptions are based on
The Bat! versions before v10).

If you find something is not working related to wine please send a bug
report to wine:
IMPORTANT: Please do not send it to this list.

Some closing notes:
1.) Plugins which are created for use under 32bit didn't work with
64bit version of "The Bat!" (not a wine problem).
2.) A connection to Exchange servers isn't tested yet but may work.
3.) You may or may not find some nice bugs introduced in "The Bat!"
from the windows world also in "The Bat!" on wine. So please watch also
Ritlabs bug tracker very often and very closely. :)

btw:
@Ritlabs support: your sending mail address must be registered here in
the list. If you post a message from an unauthorized e-mail address
your mail will be returned and you get a mail with more explanation how
to send mails to this list. Then your announcements of new versions will
get here!

=^..^=
