RC5: Can't set Priority from Status bar

2005-05-08 Thread MAU
Hello all,

I don't send many High Priority messages and, when I do, I usually
select this by clicking on the Status bar icon at the bottom of the Edit
window. My surprise today was when I tried this and instead of changing
the icon, I got the menu that should come up with a right click. But
this is not all, please see attached PNG. The menu shows High Priority
as selected and it isn't as the icon shows. But this is not all,
clicking again on the High Priority menu entry does nothing. So, the
only way to select High Priority is to select Options/High priority from
the to menu, or on the lower menu (which should not appear with a left
click) select Normal or Low and then High.

Can anybody confirm?

Hello MAU,

Open editor
Set priority in to high
Close editor
Open editor
Do a click on the priority in status bar: Priority high is selected in context
menu, also it should be normal (and icon also shows normal). Select to
high again doesn't set priority to high, you must select another
priority first.

BTW: Left click on priority in status bar shouldn't open context menu
but only switch priority.

Yes. This is exactly how it behaved for me. I had never tried to use
any of these functions before, but I understood your description and
easily replicated here what you found.

 Can anybody confirm?

Indeed. Confirmed.

Partially confirmed.
You can select 'normal' and afterwards 'high' and the icon will
change. It's a bug, nevertheless.
