I had no problem installing the new version. The restoring from a tbk
file worked very well, as far as I can see. I had yet to uninstall it,
because I hadn't chosen the correct mail directory during the first
install, and I didn't find a way to make TB! use it. The entry in
Preferences -- System was the one I wanted, but TB! used the other
one.

This beta doesn't have an uninstall yet.

Did you first delete the Ritlabs-entry in the registry, too? I did so and I
had no problems in moving forward or back (= using the on-the-fly
encrypting version or going back to the regular one which doesn't)

No, I didn't. I relied completely on The Bat! in this case. After all,
it's beta testing. *s*

Deleting it manually wasn't /such/ a pain, I just thought it should
belong to the uninstall procedure.

Hi Peter Meyns,

it was a cold Friday evening in November
you let us know -at least in parts- :

Deleting it manually wasn't /such/ a pain, I just thought it should
 belong to the uninstall procedure.
Call it a feature ;-) In case you might want to keep all such settings
when it comes to the point you have to reinstall more than just TB...
