Re: Message count in Common Folders

2009-02-20 Thread MAU
Hello Jens,

The whole Line is bold, so i think i have 11 unread Messages total,
 is this WAD?

Yes, it is WAD and has always been like that. The Total count is the
total number of messages in the tree, independently if they are unread
or read. The line is bolded because of the 1 unread.

 Parent-Folder Unread: 1 Total: 11 (2.359)

As testing further, i saw that this means
Unread: 1 (0) (current Folder/Subfolder)

and

Total: 11 (2.359) Messages in Current/Subfolder, not unread, but
highlighted with the Rest of the Line.

It could be an Idea, only highlight the unread part of the Line?

If right click on one of the column names of the folder tree you get a
windows to select which fields/columns to display. There are options to
only show unread and total for folders and not for the tree.

I know, i tried this first, but i wanted to see the Total of messages.

It would help me, if it shows up 1 (0) instead of 1 only.

Maybe this is an Problem in how i view things, i am searching for 2
numbers - one for Folder and one for Subfolder - if only one appears,
this is confusing me.

If i am the only one and this is WAD anyway, i will learn live with
it.
