I'm getting something quiet similar although I'm not sure (as
yet) when it is happening. I think it is happening on a switch back
to TB when open from MailWasher. But, I'm just not sure as yet. I
normally close TB and open via MailWasher when I know I have mail I
want to read. I keep looking for my circumstances around the Windows
alert error.

I have a tab named reference threaded that threads by reference.
When I have it selected and change to another folder and then come
back to the tab is still selected but the view is threaded by subject.

ZW Are you sure that your menu View | Global View Mode is set to (No
ZW view mode)? I have no problems with all kinds of my view modes.

I've just noticed this. It's set to no view mode.

It seems to be an old feature. Version 3.99.29 has the same
behavior.

In reply to mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] :

ZW Yes, I see what the problem is. Frankly speaking, this is a
ZW problem with message list tabs, not view modes. The selected tab
ZW stays permanently highlighted despite the fact that it is no
ZW longer active. Always, after jumping to another folder and
ZW returning to the original, the view mode is reset to the one
ZW originally associated with this folder. Using message list tabs
ZW you cannot change the association between the view mode and the
ZW folder.

Yes, that's exactly the problem. May description wasn't completely
accurate.

ZW Please check what view mode is set for a given folder (clicking
ZW the message list header by right mouse button). Does it change
ZW after tab manipulation?

No problem with that. I was expecting to see not the view mode defined
for that folder but the one associated with the tab.

This probably means that The Bat! is already installed on the
computer and updating it won't require new space.
