Filtering seems to work (so far) under IMAP/exchange. ufff ... ;-|

I can confirm on IMAP. Actually filtering has been 100% for me for a couple of versions now.

For what it's worth: Message sending (IMAP) is still defective.

The message is being sent (eventually), but never removed from Outbox,
while there are multiple (up to 5 or 6, more often 4, sometimes just 3
times) copies of the message in Sent (server-side).

Additionally, the log (bottom line in main window) still show access
violations too numerious to mention. They pop up right after program
start, without any user interaction. This doesn't seem to cause any
 other negative effects, though.

I use IMAP exclusively. I have 2 accounts: one connected to a Courier server hosted on my own VPS, and GMail. In the current version I have no AVs, no log events, messages are sent correctly, filtering is correct. The only times I have problems is when the connection to the IMAP server is unstable due to network errors (where I live the only connection is 3G wireless), then the filtering can be a bit flaky.

So the big question is, what is the difference between my installation and yours. I am on Win 7 Professional 64 bit with bags of RAM, disk space, etc. Where do we start comparing?

 Hi Simon,

Could it have something to do with connections and servers?

I have two accounts set up (besides others which do not seem to play a
 part here):

 Account 1: imap.providerA.tld, smpt.providerB.tld
 Account 2: imap.providerB.tld, smtp.providerB.tld

My configuration is actually identical to this. Account 1 is my Courier server, but the SMTP server is different from the IMAP server (they both resolve to the same host though). Account 2 is GMail.

I think that I might have reproduced this problem. I don't have the time at the moment to test my actions one by one, but I was playing around with the IMAP configuration and I started having problems. These are the settings I changed:

1.- Use TLS to dedicated port on IMAP connection account 1

2.- Use TLS to dedicated port on SMTP connection account 1

3.- Enable periodical checking every 5 minutes.

4.- Enable update counters every 60 minutes.

After this I started having lots of problems like Alto describes (no AVs, just messages not being filtered). I'll try to make an hour or so to test this one by one and see what happens.
