I have a Wireshark trace on this and it appears that the server sends
a TLS Encrypted Alert 21 which would appear to be 'Decryption Failed'.

I am now pretty convinced that it is a TLS error because I've now
connected using the standard IMAP port and have not had this problem
for over 45 minutes where as I usually get it within 10 minutes using
TLS.

Does anyone else get random disconnect exceptions when using TLS/SSL?

I have this same problem. For quite a while now I have just disabled TLS/SSL.
Due to the disconnects and the invalid certificate errors.

Regards.
