To something other than Alt-F2?

Furthermore, setting a custom hotkey to the same as a provided hotkey
is illogical. Other programs I use do not make available for reuse the
provided (hard-coded) hotkeys for customization. Seems like Rit should
 do this also.

It should be legal provided that you're still not using that hardcoded
shortcut. BTW, in customisable apps like TB! now is, there are no
hard-coded shortcuts. There are only default shortcuts.

MA Hello Charlene,

CF At first I did not use my own shortcut but the old known Alt+F2
CF keystroke. This one works and opens CC in foreground as it should. When
CF I create my own customised shortcuts (I was lazy and took Alt+F2 as
CF check-all-account and Alt+F3 for active account check) it works as you
CF described in background. So confirmation on this. But Alt+F3 now should
CF do according to your description a complete check for all my accounts.
CF This does not happen, so still no confirmation on this.

CF Hm... if a customised Alt+F2 does open CC in background and an untouched
CF native Alt+F2 opens CC in foreground, Rit really should take a second
CF look at the code.

MA Confirmed...

MA You are absolutely correct. I just found the 2 F2's in the menu. Under
MA Account/Get New Mail, the F2 is defined as Current Account and the CC
MA is in the Foreground.

MA Under Tools/Get New Mail for all, the ALT-F2 is defined for all
MA accounts and the CC is in the Foreground.

MA And when you redefine the Hotkeys, things start getting weird. :)

Makes sense to me!
