Option Do not put The Bat! to Windows Task Bar broken since 4.0.34.23

Hello,
I have option Do not put The Bat! to Windows Task Bar and since build
4.0.34.23, it doesn't work, I have TB in task bar allways, even this option
is checked

Windows Task Bar

Latest problem (or is it a bug?) is that Windows (XP) task bar disappears
and I can see part of the wallpaper below the maximized Bat!

I can, of course, bring it back by tapping one of the Windows keys, but
it disappears again once I start moving around in TB.

There are no icons visible on the desktop if I run TB in non-max (normal) size.

Are you running any shell enhancing applications like WindowBlinds
or so? If so, disable it/them and see how it goes.

No shell adhancements, only Sophos AV, Kerio, a hotkey driver for my
keyboard, and Cacheman are loaded during startup.

I can get the task bar back if I in exact sequence open 1) Snagit
screen capture, 2)Ulead Instant Viewer by clicking on a picture icon
on the desktop, and 3)from the viewer choose to edit the picture in
Ulead's PhotoImpact.

The task bar disappears only in TB - not in any other program.

Very interesting  - but stupid!
